The parents-to-be, Jamie Lynn Spears and Casey Aldridge who recently purchased their first home together in Liberty, Miss., are preparing for the imminent birth of their child.

“They’re very happy,” says a source. “They’re a fun little couple.”

To get settled in their new home, Spears, 17, and Aldridge, 19, recently had furniture – including an elaborately carved four-poster king-size canopy bed, a leather recliner, and a leather sofa – delivered to the house.

Spears’s mom, Lynne, is helping her daughter decorate the nursery, with the color scheme of pink, brown, and “silver-green,” says an insider.

Spears, who is due to give birth soon, has been keeping a low profile as she readies the new house for her baby. The five-acre Liberty property is already equipped with a barn and studio, which was formerly used as a hair salon.

One new neighbor, who has already offered to babysit, says, “They’re just a sweet little old couple.”

Jodie Sweetin became a first-time mom when daughter Zoie was born on April 12. It’s a victory for the Full House star, who just three years ago was in rehab for addiction to crystal meth.

“I’m very lucky to have made it through to the other side,” she tells People’s next issue, out Friday. There are days, she says, “that I don’t think about it at all. It’s always there, but it’s not looming over my head like it was.” She wed Zoie’s father, film transportation coordinator Codie Herpin, 31, in July.

On Ashley: “We don’t agree all the time. The way we go about business or designing or making a decision is that we come at it from two completely different angles that at the end of the day, even when we don’t think we’re agreeing with each other, we are agreeing. We’re just getting there in different ways. Unless you’re a twin, you honestly can’t know how close twins can be. There’s such a strength, but that also makes it…” Her voice trails off. “When there’s that much love there’s…Well, there’s the opposite of everything, but it stems from love, and it stems from passion. We’re driven people. I do know I can’t work in an office. Ashley, on the other hand, loves going to an office.”

On being sexy: “I feel like I can be sexy when I want to be,” she says. “I think all women are sexy. Some may feel it more than others. I personally think the women who are the most sexy are the women who are truly themselves, whatever that may be.”

On her fashion: “I don’t know—you’re either on the worst-dressed list or you’ve started a fashion trend. I think there’s a real disconnect between the media’s perception of fashion and the fashion world’s idea of fashion. I don’t know why I wear some of the things I wear. I like wearing crazy things sometimes. I like being playful. Sometimes I feel like I’m playing dress-up and becoming a character. It’s sort of like an art. It can change your mood or the way that people are attracted to you.”

People always ask me, ‘So, how do you feel being Hollywood’s good girl?’” Anne Hathaway says. “Am I? That’s an easy way to sum me up. But frankly, at the end of the day, I say, ‘There are worse things to be.’”

After being a fantasy role model for little girls everywhere in The Princess Diaries, Hathaway, 25, wanted to be known for more than being nice. “It’s not that I’m all that bad,” she says with a laugh. “I just think that people had this idea that I sat at home and sucked on lollipops and ate cotton candy while I watched cartoons—wearing a tiara.”

Now she’s going for wacky comedy in the new movie Get Smart, out this month, packing a gun and unleashing kicks and punches as Agent 99 opposite Steve Carell’s spy Maxwell Smart. But fighting in high heels wasn’t her biggest challenge. “Just keeping myself from cracking up with Steve nearly killed me,” she says.

Despite taking on decidedly adult roles in Havoc and Brokeback Mountain, Hathaway has retained her good-girl image. Her charming portrayal of a beleaguered assistant in The Devil Wears Prada won her more fans and new confidence. “I used to worry too much, take myself too seriously,” she says. “I had to learn that perfectionism slows everything down. All it does is keep you motivated by fear.”
