Halle Berry made her first appearance after having a baby girl, Nahla at the Silver Rose Gala & Auction in Beverly Hills today. I just can’t believe she had a baby a little over a month ago, Halle looks absolutely fabulous!

Nahla was born at 10:17 am on Sunday morning. She is the first child for Oscar-winning actress Halle, 41, and her boyfriend, model Gabriel Aubry, 32.
Halle and Gabriel are in a private birthing suite at Cedars Sinai with their baby. They are all said to be doing well and are expected to leave the hospital sometime this week.
Halle Berry has carried on the tradition of celebrities giving their offspring unusual names, and named her newborn daughter, Nahla Ariela Aubry.
The Oscar-winning actress, who gave birth to her much longed for baby girl on Sunday morning, has been inspired by the Arabic word for ‘drink of water’ in naming her first born.
While the girl’s middle name ‘Ariel’ comes from Hebrew and means ‘lion for God’. Nahla takes the surname of her father, model Gabriel Aubry.
A day after Nahla’s birth, Aubry’s sister, Eugenie, told “It’s been a long time since we’ve had a new baby in the family. It’s very exciting.”

Halle Berry gave birth to a baby girl at 10:17 am on Sunday morning at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles. This is the first child for Halle and boyfriend/model Gabriel Aubry.
An insider tells Star, “Halle Berry had a 7lb 4 oz girl at 10:17am Sunday morning, March 16, at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles. The actress had checked into the hospital for the second time that day after feeling contractions earlier Saturday morning.
“Halle had come to the hospital at 4am in the morning because she felt like she was going into labor. It was a bit scary because her blood pressure was skyrocketing and everyone was a little tense. She’s a diabetic so that was complicating matters as well. The doctors checked the fetal heart rate and everything seemed okay. After a while Halle’s blood pressure came down. She wasn’t dilating anymore so at around 2:45pm they let her go home.
“Halle felt her contractions come on a lot more intensely later that night so she came back to the hospital at 11:00pm Saturday night.
“Halle was overcome with emotion when she finally held her little girl. She said everything she had gone through was worth that moment. The tears kept coming as Halle didn’t even want the nurses to take her baby to clean her up and measure. It was a truly beautiful scene.”

Halle Berry is definitely ready to pop out that baby!! Halle is nine months pregnant and so totally huge it can’t be comfortable to go around like that. Of course she is still and always gorgeous no matter what specially now, maternity never looked better on anyone else.
Just last week Halle and gorgeous baby daddy Gabriel Aubry were out and about shopping. Can you imagine how beautiful this baby is going to be!?

But marriage isn’t on Halle’s future plans: “I’ll never marry again. I have a good healthy love for myself and love in my life. I no longer feel the need to be someone’s wife and I don’t need to validation of a marriage certificate.”
I totally agree with Halle, she adds “Gabriel’s a wonderful person and I’m just happy I’ve found someone really special to have a baby with. In a way I feel more married than I ever felt in two marriages. Gabriel and I have decided to redefine marriage for ourselves.”

Beautiful new mommy Halle Berry is growing and glowing in her seventh month but her new hairdo is what really stands out. Halle goes for a curly sexy look.
This woman is absolutely gorgeous anyway!! Who cares about the hair… she’s stunning and the most beautiful baby bump out there too!!
Sporting Shirley Temple ringlets and a henna tattoo normally reserved for brides (hmmm… might someone be reconsidering her “no more marriage” stance?), Halle looked lovely and well-rounded. Perhaps it’s all in preparation for the “circle of life” she and model boyfriend Gabriel Aubry will experience when Halle gives birth to the couple’s first child, due in March?
Do we see a wedding coming!? I hope so Halle and Gabriel are just so perfect for each other, either way the only pictures we wanna see in the next couple of months are baby’s photos!!

Pregnancy is just beautiful on Halle, glowing, happy, gorgeous she says “I want to stay pregnant forever.” Asked how she feels: “Fantastic! Right now I have so much joy and energy. I can just go and go and go. My skin is aglow from all the hormones,” she says proudly. “I actually wear less make-up now, which is really good.”Halle also says she wants the birth to be spectacular as it may be her only pregnancy. “I may only do this one time, so I want the moment to be as big as it can be. I want the biggest bang I can imagine.”
It’s refreshing to see a celebrity doing well and feeling happy!!
